Q. What is Naturopathy?
A. Naturopathy is a whole medical system that uses an array of natural therapies to support healing and maintain health. Naturopaths aim to treat the underlying causes of illness and disease.
Q. What qualifications do you have?
A. I am a university qualified Naturopath. I studied a Bachelor Health Science - Naturopathy with Torrens University Australia.
Q. What happens during your initial consultation?
A. The initial consultation is focused on understanding you and your health needs. Initial appointments go for a duration of approx. 75-90 minutes and include:
A comprehensive analysis of your previous and current health concerns
Discussion of your family history
Asking you a number of questions about relevant body systems to acquire a better understanding of your health condition
Perform in clinic testing if required (see ‘In Clinic Testing’ for further information)
Discussion of your health goals and strategies and tools to achieve them
Discuss whether Functional Pathology Testing is required
Tailored dietary and lifestyle advice to help you achieve your health goals
An individualised treatment program
Ongoing support to ensure maximum efficacy of treatment plan.
At the end of your initial consultation your individualised Treatment Plan and Pathology Review write-up (if applicable), including nutritional and prescription recommendations, will be emailed to you. Treatment plans area issued Friday to Sunday of each week. Any herbal medicine and/or nutritional supplements that are recommended will be delivered to your door.
Q. What happens during your follow up consultation?
A. During your follow up consultation, a progress review and check-in will be undertaken. If pathology testing was undertaken as part of your initial consultation, your results will be analysed and discussed. The follow up consultation allows for dietary, lifestyle or prescription adjustments to be made and discussed to ensure you are seeing the best results.
Q. Are in-person and TeleHealth (online video) consultations available?
A. All appointments are to be undertaken via Telehealth Australia-wide. That way, no matter where you are in Australia, you can still undertake your consultations with me as your qualified and experienced practitioner. Our virtual dispensary allows for tailored prescriptions to be posted right to your door!
For your online consultation, simply download the Practice Better app, log in to your Practice Better account, go to your appointment time and click the video icon.
Q. What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation Policy:
Pre-payment is required to secure your booking. Prepayment in full is to be made a minimum of 48hrs prior to your appointment. Failure to make prepayment in full may result in your consultation being cancelled.
By selecting 'Book your appointment' you understand that cancellations and rescheduling of your appointment can occur for free up to 48 hours prior to your appointment. However cancellations made within the 48 hour period prior to your appointment will attract a 50% cancellation fee. Thank you for your consideration of our time and of other clients waiting for appointments.
Q. Shipping
We endeavour to process orders within 1-3 business days after purchase. Shipping is via Australia Post and their standard shipping times are 2-7 business days. Shipping is $12.50 Australia-wide or free for orders of $120 or more.
